Elite Performance Ottawa uses The CrossFit Kids
programming method.
This method is composed of elements designed to reduce Exercise Deficit Disorder and poor lifestyle choices: laying foundational movement patterns, providing children with a portion of their prescribed amount of exercise for the week, improving muscular fitness, engineering endless opportunities for success, and discussing roles for food—all while keeping the class and its information fun and engaging.

CrossFit Kids is for ANY child aged 5-18!
CrossFit Kids teaches kids to not judge a book by its cover. We teach kids to support other kids in their strengths and in their weaknesses. Nobody is done until the last person is done! We rule by camaraderie and support. CrossFit Kids teaches a teammate mentality. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Every teammate serves a role. CrossFit can teach kids that every person has a role. Appreciating someone else’s strengths. Rely on each other for support and not necessarily compete but support. Work on relying on yourselves and bettering your whole team.
